#The Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap Intake Manifold is designed for high-performance rectangular-port big block cylinder heads. The new RPM air-gap incorporates the race-winning technology that has been used in the Victor Series intakes. The open air space separates the runners from the hot engine oil, and as a result, the air/fuel mixture stays cooler for a denser charge and more power. It includes rear water outlets, two distributor clamp locations and nitrous bosses. It accepts all late model alternators and A/C brackets for the street and is for square-bore carburetors only. The manifold height is 4.45 inch in the front and 6.0 inch in the rear. The port dimensions are 2.24 inch tall by 1.60 inch wide. The runners are tuned to move the power band 1,000 RPM higher than Performer air-gap manifolds, from idle-5,500 RPM up to 1,500-6,500 RPM. It has no provision for exhaust heated chokes and no exhaust crossover.
